Harmonics

Gana Art is proud to present Harmonics, a group exhibition featuring the works of four actively working artists based on digital media. This marks the inaugural group exhibition for these Canadian-based digital artists, with the aim of uncovering the harmonious resonance within the contrasting artistic worlds of each participant. The group exhibition Harmonics will feature a diverse array of both new and previously showcased works from the artists. Fvckrender renders a balance between reality and the surreal within digital landscapes. Mad Dog Jones captures the dynamism of urban life blended with the tranquility of nature to depict coexistence. Victor Mosquera merges rhythm and melody into vibrant abstract forms. Lastly, Baeige employs a modern sensibility to portray harmony within chaos. These artists are renowned for their versatile activities, seamlessly navigate between the digital and physical realms. Their works have been garnered recognition and been auctioned at prestigious houses such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s, drawing significant attention. This exhibition, focusing on artists rooted in contemporary digital media, promises to be a profound exploration into their unique artistic domains.

Harmonics

가나아트는 디지털 매체를 기반으로 다채로운 활동을 펼치는 4인의 작가들이 참여한 그룹전시, 《Harmonics》를 개최한다. 본 전시는 캐나다를 중심으로 활동하는 유망한 디지털 아티스트들이 함께하는 첫 그룹전으로, 각 예술가들의 대조적인 작품 세계 안에서 공명하는 조화로움을 발견하고자 한다. 《Harmonics》는 현실과 초현실 세계의 조화를 디지털 풍경에 구현하는 퍽렌더(Fvckrender), 도시의 역동성과 자연의 평온을 결합해 공존을 표현하는 매드 독 존스(Mad Dog Jones), 리듬과 멜로디를 다채로운 추상의 형태로 혼합하는 빅터 모스케라(Victor Mosquera), 현대적인 감각으로 혼돈 속의 조화를 시도하는 베이지(Baeige)의 신작과 기존 작품을 폭넓게 선보이고자 한다. 이들은 디지털 세계와 현실 세계를 넘나드는 다양한 활동을 하고 있으며, 소더비, 크리스티 등 대형 옥션에서 작품이 거래되며 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 동시대 디지털 매체를 중심으로 활동하는 작가들의 실물 작품을 선보이는 본 전시가 이들의 독창적인 예술 세계를 탐험하는 유의미한 자리가 될 것으로 기대한다.
